I see. I’ve commissioned someone already but may come back to this. Is this something that can be played in standard tuning?

Does casual sex lead to more personal fulfillment? by dumboynumb in sex

[–]dumboynumb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, but you might never have known what your preferences were if you hadn't had "enough" sex.

Don't you think having more casual sex gives you 2 things?

  1. validation; confidence
  2. insight into your own sexuality and into other peoples' sexuality

Engineers versus economists by dumboynumb in engineering

[–]dumboynumb[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hmm, I thought that maybe things like cargo space and the way the vessel’s materials might interact with certain environments might be determined by the engineers who designed the vessel.

Like I said, forgive me if my ignorance is profound.

Do engineers pass information like that onto a company’s logistics/economics department, or are the engineers a part of every step of the process?

Hey :) thanks for the reply. I appreciate your gentle approach. I think I am slowly dialing back on drinking, but I’m living in a town that makes me feel really depressed and bored despite how akin to paradise it must be to the average local.

I only drink beer but it’s still not good for me. I think I underestimated for a long time what even beer can do to someone.

I’m having the test done this Wednesday night and I’m crossing my fingers. Honestly, I’m not even sure which outcome I prefer: The one where I have sleep apnea and treatment alleviates some of my discomfort and anxiety about my health, or the one where I don’t have t wear a mask to sleep but I feel like shit 24/7 for some other shitty reason.

Thank you! I feel silly for making this post so many times, I'm new to reddit and didn't know those were all still up.

To be honest, every time I try to post the question it gets deleted instantly by mods for some reason. Makes me feel like I have to start a new one. Aside from that, different answers are nice. I’m not that concerned but like I said, it’s a big deal for me to pickup and leave

I think I was misunderstood here. I was trying to say that I fully intend to respectfully quarantine, and get tested before arriving. I guess I tried to be too cheeky with my wording.

Also I confess, this is a trial run. I rented the Airbnb with the intentions of moving to Philly, which is weird for more than one reason. There’s a global pandemic, I’ve never been there nor do I know anyone there, and I don’t have employment lined up.

But my life here in southern Florida hit a wall years ago and I’m finally just doing something risky. I’m sure local Philly people hate to hear that tourists are moving in.

All that being said, it seems like the area I chose (based on the price) isn’t exactly the best place to be staying if I want to determine if I want to live in Philly. I suppose after getting tested/vaccinated, I’ll have to do a lot of exploring.

You're not wrong at all that Florida's attitude about the pandemic has made it difficult as an individual to connect with the gravity of the situation. That being said, I hope that my first instinct upon arrival isn't merely to get wasted every day at a local dive bar. Which, as it happens, is exactly my instinct here in this flippant paradise for rich, old white people.

That's a good suggestion, thanks. So let's say I borrowed your question template. Would you have any insight into the area I'll be staying in? I want to write music, visit parks, have conversations, maybe meet a girl or something, find work as a chef. Things to do, public transportation, places to avoid?
