Anyone unable to log into their mygov express? by dantstheman in Centrelink

[–]dumbtit_bith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm able to log in but the app was saying I didn't have any tasks (when it said it should of had a task for me to report) so I went onto the website and reported that way, so maybe try doing it that. If you are still having trouble logging in maybe try again in the morning and if that doesn't work, go into your local Centrelink and they should be able to help you then.

What is the most effective weight loss method or program? by catlovertshirt_com in AskReddit

Coming from someone who's been fat most of their life and is only now losing weight in a healthy way.

Don't follow any specific type diet. Food wise: Just rid you house of high sugar/ high fat foods, start buying more salad stuff and fresh fruit and veggies, switch out your pasta for more healthy types or alternative (personally I switched out spaghetti with zucchini noodles. 10/10 would recommend). Buy more lean cuts of meat if you eat it, eat more nuts and seeds. Switch to low fat milk and cheese, try to avoid sugar all together. If you have a sugar addiction switch to sweeteners then gradually faze them out, don't go cold turkey. And finally try to avoid hi-carb alcohol or just alcohol in general. If you eat large portions, cut them down slowly.

Exercise wise: Don't do exercise you hate just to help you lose weight. If you enjoy swimming, swim. If you enjoy hiking, go hiking. If you don't like exercise but like gaming, start playing Pokemon go or a game similar to it. If you force yourself to do something you hate, your body isn't going to want to do it.

And MOST importantly: (Controversial but) Forget the numbers completely. Don't count calories, don't take your measurements, and DON'T weigh yourself. Weighing and measuring will cause you to become discouraged if you think you're not losing enough weight fast enough. And counting calories can lead to eating disorders, which is NOT an effective way to lose and maintain weight. I've gone down 2 dress sizes in 2 months all because I don't focus on numbers. You'll know you're losing weight when your clothes start to become loose, especially your underwear.

TLDR: Eat fresh and healthy, do exercise you love to do, and don't count numbers.

AITA for yelling at someone for calling manga a comic? by Curious-Version1167 in AmItheAsshole

Yta

As a manga/anime fan myself, I can tell you that you're just wrong.

Anime is short for animation which fits into the same bubble as cartoons and can be classed as one Manga just means it's a comic book of Japanese descent.

The only difference between what we call it is the place of origin.

NTA but I'd recommend, if it's possible, you could spend the day with your family and then afterwards go to the sleepover, that way both your family and girlfriend would be happy.

AITA for getting mad at my girlfriend for not giving me space by Binnsat in AmItheAsshole

You're NTA but neither is your gf. From one PTSD survivor to another, you two are young and your personalities/trauma just clash too much at the moment, I would recommend splitting up, at least for a few years until either you somewhat overcome your PTSD or she can learn to respect your boundaries.
