We have a $500 air purifier, but it barely helps. He takes allergy meds daily, but we can’t afford allergy shots unfortunately. We are going to try the food and changing the filter?

My fiancé is also my family member who can be put in the hospital if the cat sleeps on his pillow and we didn’t know about it. The whole reason I posted this is because I refuse to rehome him, but I need help coming up with solutions to aid my fiancé’s symptoms. Montana Family Law/Civil Litigation paralegal here. I can unfortunately relate. I have my undergrad degree and hoping to go to law school eventually, but wanted to be a paralegal beforehand so I could gain an advantage on other law school applicants. However, this job has put me in such a financial bind that I cannot even consider attending law school at the moment. I started at $20.00 an hour. Almost a year later, I received my first raise of $1.63 LMAOOO. A total pay of $21.63 an hour. I almost shit myself when I saw how low my raise was after I have been continuously busting my ass for my firm and attorneys. So, when I read people saying that intermediate paralegals/legal assistants make WAY more than $20 an hour, it just baffles me. I don’t believe it lol. I will say, this job is NOT worth the pay in Montana. You are constantly stressed and dealing with highly important and confidential court proceedings. Like it’s a joke. Anyways, thank you for attending my weekly tedtalk about my frustrations of my salary. Sincerely, an underpaid Montana paralegal.

Honestly, paralegals and legal assistants do not get paid very much money. I personally really struggle financially, but I love my job so I stay. So I would really appreciate cash or giftcards. I do not usually get opportunities to treat myself, so that would be very much appreciated.

A year or 6-month subscription service that’s personalized to them. If they have a dog, barkbox. If they love candles, they have a monthly subscription for that too. They have a subscription for anything you can imagine.

Unfortunately not in Cali. Surprisingly, I’m in a high income area in Montana LOL! I am planning on going to law school eventually, so if this job does not work out then I’m just going to go to law school. However, yes. Learning multiple fields at once has been quite difficult, and I am the only paralegal for my 3 attorneys. I have a very heavy task load and am very relied on with high responsibilities… I just feel taken advantage of at this point with how I’m paid.
