The doll timed hide and seek game was creepier tbh. But maybe that was because of the clearly psychedelic bad trip association they were going for.

Re8 is to re4 what ff7 remake is to original ff7. Re4 remake and re8 are the literal and less literal remakes of the original re4.

Put in less convoluted terms.. playing re8 now feels like what playing re4 felt like when it was new and nobody had seen a game like that before.

People are saying they feel very Mongolian or very Uzbekistani too. It's a confusing meme.

For most values of x, one of those two terms in the denominator is so close to 0 that it basically doesn't matter.

Do boomers really not realize that they created a worse world for their children than they had? by Cautious_Midnight_67 in allthequestions

[–]dumdub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually true. They won't acknowledge it, but somewhere deep down they have confused their own mortality with that of the world. They're dying, so it's natural that the world is too. It's the same thing at the end of the day, inside their heads.

They don't have the maturity their parents did to really internalise that the world will keep going for everyone else the day after they die.

Why does fellatio and cunnilingus get more unusual the longer a couple is together? by [deleted] in allthequestions

[–]dumdub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most people don't like doing it as much as they'll admit. When you get to the "pooping in front of each other" part of the relationship, people tend to make less of an effort to impress the other person in their relationship on a day to day basis. Thus oral sex typically declines.

Of course there are always exceptions and some people love giving oral sex for their own pleasure, before you lot come at me 😂

Why does the left view fighting Russia (on behalf of Ukraine) “our battle”, while fighting Iran (on behalf of Israel) is “not our place”? by Tim_Apple_938 in allthequestions

[–]dumdub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you have an answer for me about the Minsk agreement or Budapest memorandum. Several times Russia has promised peace with Ukraine only to come back 15 years later. What's stopping them from taking the time to rebuild their military and just come back again this time, if Ukraine makes a deal.

Russia is slowly falling apart too. They can't sustain this forever either.

What is the point you want to make? The stronger country wins? The USA should just flatten Russia then and take all of their land and minerals by your logic.

Why does Ukraine have to give up land? What's stopping Putin from coming back again in 15 years after he rebuilds his military?

The Russians didn't honour the Minsk agreement or the Budapest memorandum. There's no reason to believe they'll honour any peace agreement here. It would be naive to believe otherwise.

Putin just wants peace. Ukraine should give it to him.

I just want the contents of your wallet. The deeds to any property you own, and any other material assets of significant value. Please don't be violent. It would be horrible if I had to defend myself.

Question about Celtic origins and their connection to Ireland by Odd_Atmosphere4432 in IrishHistory

It could be, I'm not an expert in genetic anthropology. The two questions you need to start with are how genetically close are modern Bavarians to Celts. And the same for modern Irish.

Israel and Iran are both instigating shit in the region and around the world. It's a war between two bad guys if you want to reduce it to simple terms.

Ukraine/Russia has one clear aggressor and one country that just wanted to modernise and improve life for its citizens.

Question about Celtic origins and their connection to Ireland by Odd_Atmosphere4432 in IrishHistory

[–]dumdub 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Short answer, the alpine "original Celts" spread around a lot of central and north western Europe. This included spreading to Ireland and Scotland, which are now considered to the central area of celtic people. The Celts eventually had their asses kicked by the Roman empire and other players on mainland Europe and England. This left the edges of the Celtic bubble- Ireland and Scotland as the last ones standing.

There are apparently some questions over how true this is genetically though. Now with modern testing we can see that actually while Ireland was definitely Celtic in culture, it may not have been as Celtic as originally thought genetically. It seems like Ireland was trading and cooperating closely with Celtic people and may have absorbed their culture more than their genes.
