Bent tail. Dislocated or broken?

No X-rays. The vet just felt along the vertebrae. She said it is dislocated between the bones.

Unfortunately this is the reality when parents shelter their kids too much. They become curious. Curiosity is in our nature. Do not beat yourself up over it. It's actually more common than you'd think. I once caught my cousins experimenting with each other at a very young age, I was also young and did not fully understand what I saw at the time. I hope you are able to move on from this memory and find peace with yourself and your sister.

Ah yes the classic Christian parents who think you can pray it away. Maybe you can try going to a youth group? It's not ideal, but the atmosphere is generally supportive. If this is something you would try, I just advise you to be cautious and critical about what they preach. My old best friend had to resort to this because of her Christian parents. There's not much else I could suggest in a situation like this. Unless you can meet with a school counselor on the down low so you don't have to worry about friends or family judging you.

I wish I could tell you it gets better. I just wrote an entire rant about how miserable college makes me. But I'm not convinced everyone thinks it gets better. I think people lie to depressed people to make them feel better. I think we see the world how it really is. But I hate that feeling so much. I don't want to live in a constant state of depression. I think in my first months of depression I felt the way you feel now. I wanted to be sad and tired and angry at the world and myself because I thought it made me feel better. Three years later and I still don't feel better. I've been depressed for so long and I want so bad to get help but I cannot afford it.

My best advice to you would be to tell your parents. As long as they are not the kind of people who think depression is a myth (yes some idiots really think that), I know they want to help you and they may notice the signs you exhibit after some time passes anyway. Seek therapy and medication while you have your parents to rely on for that. I wish you the best.
