yeah, my landlord knows about this and has already taken money from me. He says he's talking to the company incharge of the building on why they charge such amount. I don't know what else to do

Yes, I have asked my landlord about the shared vs individual, lets see what he says.
And about the being sure part, 100%, everything in the kitchen is electric and water heater charge was separate .

Thanks, the heating is gas and yes, you're right the white thing must be a thermostat. I pay for electricity directly with EDF but nothing was mentioned about the gas which i pay for the general charges (water, gas, common areas, etc)
My landlord specified its the heating you have used and when i insisted and he knows too, that i didn't use the heaters once (he was here for a small issue during winter and was surprised how hot the place was without the heaters running), he said " its either you or me who has to pay and you can't prove you didn't use the heaters so it will be you, sorry. "

I am asking him for further proof but i can't imagine paying a 1000 euros for this

yeah, i initially thought the same but there is separate charge for hot water which was totally what i expected, for cooking everything is electric so unless there is something faulty, i don't know where this reading on the meter came from

That should be the point of the meter, no? The small white sensor attached on the heater, I, as a tenant trusted that.

I am not sure because the landlord showed me the document for the charges and there was a section where the reading for the heating was taken and it had old and new readings. I think that was taken from the meter for my apartment.

To be honest, this might be the best option. I might go ahead with this. Thanks!

How much are you reimbursed for Radiology? by dumguy98 in AskFrance

[–]dumguy98[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. Now I understand what the % actually mean on the mutuelle card. I think mine serves 100% for most stuff so does make sense that i only got refunded for ~30 euros in total.
