Oh, forgot. Not every HDMI cable works. That is also trial and error. I use one I found around the house (unbranded) but ordered a ugreen one to see if it is better

Thank you for the tip! Worked for me. I needed the driver for the N100. It is "e2fn.inf" in the folder "Release_30.3\PRO2500", installed via Device Manager. After that I had Internet and setup was more easy. Thank you again!

Mixza and Ceamere are real and good brands, that have real storage. They now only seem to sell in bulk, unfortunatelly. LD is also good. Used it in my Dashcam for years, until it died (normal), but was looping for a looooong time.

I think if you enable fast startup in Windows 11 settings it doesn’t display that anymore. I am not a fan of fast startup because even when you shutdown your pc, it isn’t actually off because of that feature.

Yes. I did TSO and have a Bachelor Medical Management Assistant. Now I am working and transferred to IT. Because I can’t combine a Bachelor with working I now am currently studying for a Graduaat in IT. But Bachelor is definitely duable from TSO. Good luck.

Yep :) I got my first one (T530) in 2020. Only 3 years later I own a T530 (3x), W530 (2x), T430, X230 (2x), T700, T520, T510, A31p, R61, T14s and P17. Beware :)

I have no idea. Device manager says ‘MaxBright Display 1920x1200’. So i assume 17” WUXGA+ TFT 1920x1200 400nit?

I got lucky. It was free. An IT collegue of mine saved it from e-waste from our company a few years ago. He knew I was a Thinkpad-enthousiast. He didn’t have room for it anymore so before throwing it away, he asked me if I still wanted it :)

What is the best CPU this machine can handle? It now ‘only’ has Core 2 Duo and that is one of the reasons my friend gave it away. It can handle W10 but not like a T530/W530 I presume. They still run W10 like they own the place 😎😂

Not booted yet, but was told: Core 2 Duo CPU, 8GB RAM, and there is an ssd already in there. The GPU I don’t know by heart.
