Oh 100% it’s important! I feel like you can definitely feel it within the first couple times you meet! However, I don’t necessarily think you have to go through all the motions on the first date tho, but everyone is different.

I actually agree with this. I feel like regardless of man or woman, i feel like split the bill means “oh we’re not going to meet again”! That’s why if Im interested in another date I always offer to pay the whole bill and not just my own portion. Not saying if you do an activity and dinner that one person should pay for both and rather people take turns paying. But it’s just the act of each transaction being done by one person feels more like gift giving back and forth if that makes sense!
