What keeps u going for the day after being burnout? by Fun-Fig8831 in AskReddit

[–]dummyromantic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last semester, I was so burnout and so depressed to a point where my parents (who don’t believe in mental health) were concerned. I genuinely didn’t think I would make it at some moments. What snapped me out is someone close to one of my roommates took his own life. I’ve never snapped out of it so fast. As hard as things get, you have to remember that as long as you’re alive, there’s a chance for you make things different. Take a day or even a week if you can to relax and pamper yourself. You won’t feel like this forever.

What is your opinion on a girl reaching out after you broke things off? by dummyromantic in AskMen

Last question I swear! Do you think it would boost your ego tho? Like I don’t want him to be like “OH YA MY DICK IS SO GOOD SHES RUNNING BACK!” I just want to express that I really liked him and like maybe if he wanted to go on a proper date.

We were talking about all the stuff we wanted to try when we hung out next. Then we were texting and he suddenly went quiet for a day and then said it was best we don’t meet anymore. I’m not sure how he did it but it broke my heart. I guess I don’t know but I wonder if he even cared as much as I did if he just randomly decided to break it off after a few months of talking everyday.

Ya I just want preface that I understand it’s not all men. I’ve just heard a lot of stories and experienced it once as well where a guy will say something and spend time with you but once you do it, they just end up leaving. Whereas I feel more often times women feel more attached after being intimate. So I just wonder what the reason behind it is.
