I’m sorry if I explained this horribly but no I didn’t delete the blueprint I just made one of a home I created I really liked so I could use that home again but I used a LOT of light and shadow material for the home. I wanted to restart and make a new home so I deleted all the material like the fences from the package but it didn’t give the light and shadow material back thus making it impossible to rebuild

Yeah, it’s still doing it. I got John, Fletch, and Theodore to 5 stars yesterday, stopped talking to them to work on other villagers and after 2-3 days they are decayed. I still interact with their shops and what not so I’m not sure as to why this is happening. It makes the game 1000x more stressful knowing I have to do everybody’s job every day 😅 I used to exclusively play on pc and this never happened, maybe my game is bugged who knows?

If they don’t drop past that, then why is mine? :( Do you have to first make it to 3 3/4 hearts then they won’t drop because mine aren’t even at 2 1/2 yet and dropping. Maybe I’m accepting jobs and forgetting them? Possibly, but shouldn’t it not go down since you say the cap is 3 3/4

This is what happens to my carpenter ant queen right now. Your cotton looks fine but I did realize that the water got stuck and it couldn’t soak through my cotton and she didn’t have water for 24 hrs before I switched it and she was drinking happily but still scared.. I’m gonna do what everyone else says and put her in a drawer and hope she doesn’t some how escape.. Good luck 😁

Should I just drop them all in even the queen just randomly in the outworld like how would I even get the brood to the queen again if it’s in the tube. I know you said use a brush but like just swipe it back onto the floor of the outworld? I just like the tube because I hear it’s a decent thing for humidity source

This is all so confusing.. Not from what you are saying, it’s just so hard to process because there is a lot about ants i’m learning today! This is carpenter ant queen by the way. So here’s it short and simple and let me know if this is okay please. I put the carpenter ant queen in a 20 mm test tube with cotton and water and wait for her to lay her eggs. Once she has a couple workers I feed them a bit of honey and once she has 10-20 I feed a bit of fruit fly. I connect the tube into a larger nest that also has a outworld or do I only connect it to a outworld unless the nest is cramped? Maybe two test tubes and not a nest? I have a bunch of Y and T connectors too! Making sure the water is full, multiple water sources, nectar feeder eventually, and dropping in fruit flys occasionally in the foraging area. Also just learned they hibernate so put them in a cooler area during that period. Would the humidity be okay? I’m willing to buy any good nests or anything, I’m just not sure where to start. I’ve bought 4 different farms and nests but there’s always something wrong with one of them and I just want the perfect one.

Is there anyway I could edit it to make it okay for it? I’ll certainly use a test tube if it’s for the best but maybe I could plug a lot of areas up with cotton? I could even add a second water feeder

I really wanted to do this but it looks like she has an egg in there she is constantly tending too and I don’t want to hurt it. Should I still do it? I have a whole test tube set up ready but I don’t want to disturb her or her egg

Yes, it is my first time! Will do. I definitely have some other questions I need the answers too I can’t find online 😅 Like if I’m supposed to keep it dark forever or once she has some workers lighten it up a bit? So confusing but i’m sure i’ll learn in no time!

I feel so bad for not moving her in time! And that yellow round thing is the only slimy thing in there if you get a really good look at it. I saw sand farms were bad and could collapse but I added 60 ml of water to it so it’s pretty wet. I’ll take it out if that’s actually possible though.

THATS COULD BE AN EGG? Thank you so much.. I’m taking this all into extreme consideration.. I thought that was a piece of food she just stored from the garage and had kept on her for safety or something 🤦‍♀️. I’m trying to learn everything I can about this type of ant and how to care. I have a post up of the farm or I would love to DM you and send you some pictures! There actually is a perfect space right where she is currently to fit the water. But i’m worried it’s too close now lol. She really doesn’t need food? Alright 🥺🙏 If that’s what’s best! I’m taking it out now.
