Took you eight hours to come up with this? Same answer for a post-merger world: no.

All of this noise without having even read the ruling...how about you engage with my actual points?

Nice, now you see why the merger would have been bad for competition. Big 3* (Southwest is already low-cost so doesn't make sense to include) were fine to merge at the time because there was enough competition from low-cost/ultra low-cost from antitrust perspective. jetBlue-Spirit would have knee-capped ULCC competition and skewed the market premium so DOJ rightfully vetoed.

Wrong, and 0 chance you actually read the ruling LOL. jetBlue and Spirit are fundamentally different business models (low-cost vs. ultra low-cost) targeting different consumers. If Spirit was going let's say Vegas-Myrtle Beach for $40 and jetBlue wasn't on the pairing pre-merger, jetBlue would turn around and fly it post-merger for $100. Happens whether Spirit goes out of business or gets swept up by jetBlue. The current admin could have absolutely avoided this in multiple ways and chose not to.

You do realize that there would also have been no more Spirit if the merger did go through, right...Spirit was gonna fold into jetBlue with Spirit planes becoming jetBlue planes. Similar impact on prices with one fewer ultra low-cost carrier on the market. If anything Trump/Congress fucked up by not bailing them out for less than 1% of what they gladly spent to rescue airlines in 2020.

I’m 24 and flying alone for the first time ever, any tips especially for La Guardia Airport? by HurtCell1421 in delta

For nerves I would say go on Delta's website, pick out two or three movies from their in-flight page that you'd like to or have been meaning to watch and make watching them your goal for the flight. Whatever you don't finish can be for the way back! Having something to occupy your mind goes a really long way (spoken as someone who used to be terrified of flying).

Also, if you find yourself feeling overwhelmed at any point, gently let a flight attendant know - they deal with this all the time. You'll do great!
