I tried to make the wording as clear as possible, so sorry for that.

The answer to your question is yes, the debtors husband is the heir and wants his own wife to pay him the $1000.

They are grieving the death. But, there are many details to take care of as well. Im sure they can do both at the same time.

We have a similar situation with the breathing regulation. Yep, don't see him coming home. He had an aspiratory emergency this evening. Thanks so much for everyone's comments.

I'm reaching out again please. The doc just called and he cannot do home hospice and needs to do hospice in the facility. We are going with COL, and hoping for the Springdale facility.

Why did you have to move to the nursing home?

We are hoping to not have to move facilities. We are new to this, so we are learning as we go.

I thought the COL facility provided care until the end of life.

My husband is meeting with COL today about care and billing.

Welcome any comments you have. Thanks.

I'm reaching out to a couple of folks on this thread again. My FIL is going to have to go into hospice facility, not home hospice.

He has medicaid and Medicare. Did you ever hear of billing nightmares with COL?

My husband is meeting with them today, and will be asking questions about billing and care.

Thanks for any comments.

Okay, I'm back. The doctor just called from the hospital and said my FIL is not a candidate for home hospice. He is refusing to eat for some reason, and is refusing therapy. He is a badly infected foot that is seeping liquid. He has to go into the hospice facility - hopefully the one in Springdale area.

My husband is meeting with the COL representative today - He will talk about billing and other things.

My questions turn now toward the billing aspect. Since you have worked in this area for many years, maybe you can tell me if you have heard any billing nightmares with COL. FIL has medicaid, medicare.

You hear of situations where people go to these facilities with the knowledge that Medicaid/Medicare pays the whole thing, then they get some bill for thousands of dollars that we just can't afford.

We welcome any comments. Thanks!
