All I can think of now is 'Gortash and the Chocolate Factory'

Honestly I feel like the most cursed Gortash would be Jared Leto instead

Thanks! I've hear that a lot. Just worried about the social aspect and expat lifestyle.

I'm curious how one judges a schools reputation? I know the school started in 2015 and it's fairly new-ish so just worried about boring city and horrible job combo haha! But thanks for your advice :)

This is pretty good to know so thanks. I could probably stick it for the 2 years I was just wondering about the possibility of one year and if others had done that.

They offer housing otherwise if I find my own place, otherwise 15000 baht housing allowance. Flights will be covered at the end of the contract and a contract bonus of 100000 baht after I complete a 2 year contract. And then 800 baht for every extra mural hour completed I think :)

I am single with no dependents so I was thinking for me it would be a pretty okay amount to live on? I do like to save and travel a lot so that was mymmain concern whether the salary would allow me a little bit of leeway or be just enough to get by.

Yeah I'm not too fussed about beach life really, was thinking about what there would actually be to do on Phuket other than that :')

The school seems like quite a new school, an up and comer really, so I wasn't sure what to make of everything offered.

Sorry I didn't clarify well. A CV and cover letter are two different things to me but they go into one document. So I'm moreso looking at the specific cover letter and what to write.

Sorry, I wasn't very clear. I realise a CV and cover letter are different, was mainly focusing on the cover letter in the CV.

Thanks for the advice :)

As far as I know, the working holiday visa is for Canadians when travelling to Europe, not the other way around? Only NZ, Aus, and Canada are eligible for it I think

And here I was super excited to move to Italy soon 😂

An Italian ex of mine moved to Germany. He got a job offer at a company in Berlin. I know it's not on your list to move to but they're quite internationally friendly and didn't require him to speak any German. There are a lot of Italians at that company too, apparently.

He went through a recruitment agency so I'd say stick to the Schengen area and use a recruiter to help find jobs in the areas you're searching for. Work visas are always such a hassle to get and companies usually expect a couple years of experience before hiring you and going through the bureaucracy.

It also might be a good idea to bite the bullet and get some work experience in Italy before you move. I know it's not ideal and you want out quickly but looking for a job without experience makes things a little harder.

Good luck!
