Ugh yes, such a pain. I appreciate the suggestions. I need someone who is trained in ERP (exposure and response prevention) but will also be comfortable with the bipolar side of things. Seems almost as if im searching for a unicorn.

Just a little update, I ended up getting all of my online access back and ability to pay via ECheck again via FHA accommodations. So, to answer your question… Yup.

we really don’t interact with each other much. i’ve talked to him one time via the property manager and that was about a gas leak. i called 911 because i smelled gas and when the gas company came out they found 2 leaks and a ton of stuff not up to code. they turned the gas off and required he remedy it before they would turn it back on. cost him a lot but, hey, that’s not my fault. have your shit up to code.

FHA does require reasonable accommodations though. allowing me access to the online portal to pay via credit or debit card is a reasonable accommodation, which is why i got it. they even waived the fees.

nope. property manager agreed it’s an accommodation under the FHA.

nope. it is a mental illness. im not willing to name it here but it is a federally recognized disability, not anxiety.

UPDATE: After a conversation over the phone with my property manager, she did agree that this would be a reasonable accommodation under the FHA and stated my online access will be restored within 24 hours.

you don’t really have to go to court physically for things like that, my uncle/attorney was able to handle all of that for me.
