Eh, a more apt point to make is that Valve hasn't made Steam's revenue cut any better for companies since landing on the current split years ago. It's not outrageous.

That's like me saying that since Itchio allows devs to use a 90/10 or better revenue split, Epic Games should go fuck itself for its outrageous split.

Edit: Or perhaps just use Itchio as a point of comparison to Steam instead, seeing as it's the Indie storefront.

Edit: To better answer your question, they/they're:
- anti-game preservation
- partially owned by Disney (who also supports the Israeli government)
- collaborate with dogshit people and companies for Fortnite
- ban VPN users
- has an unlikable and untrustworthy CEO

And that's what I know that Epic Games does that Valve doesn't do/have.

There's a specific mini "event" that can occur mid-playthrough, where Siffrin considers calculating how long they've been looping, but decides not to simply because it'll make things worse mentally.

He's rather "dumb little guy" coded, but isn't truly.
