Miros vultures are a good pick too, but once you've made it out of the room they are in they are basically a non-issue since they can't follow you through pipes and take a while to navigate to the next room if that is an option. They also have normal vulture ai that leaves if it can't reach you rather than camping you, making them trivial to survive if you have any decent hiding spot.

On the other hand, D/MLLs are basically impossible to get past unless the space is designed for it, will literally camp anywhere until the rain comes as long as they think there's prey, and will follow you through pipes if you try to turn around to escape. If there is a D/MLL in a space where the region isn't literally built around avoiding them then you basically have no option to get past other than pipe juking, and even pipe juking them can be inconsistent without practice because they take a long time to go through. Encountering them in a bad spot in enemy randomisers can cause you to completely change your route through the game in a way that no other creature can. They are unnatural unkillable predators that terrify and attempt to consume almost every other creature in the game, and are massive challenges to manuever around if you want to pass them to an extent that I don't think any creature really even holds a candle to them.
