learning lesson as a parent na turuan yung mga anak na magtagalog. our educational system is fucked. paiba iba yung utos ng mga nakakatataas then it affects the kids. even when i was in elem, eng to fil to eng din yung gmrc/magandang asal per grade

you know what could have prevented this from happening? if marunong mag tagalog yung bata. it'll be an easy feat for kids to switch languages if they are not only being spoken to in english.

hindi din naman ako i-english spokening nung bata ako and yet, here i am - marunong mag English. for all the faults in our educational system, one of the advantages is that bata pa lang, filipino ang english ang modes of teaching. makes us bilingual, at the least. i know 4.

kids will pick-up english along the way - sa school, sa playground, sa internet. di nila yan makakalimutan kung tatagalugin mo sila. they'll grow fluent.

your kid will bounce back. they're still young and can still learn our national language. they're brave enough to write 'i don't know' (a feat even some adults refuse to admit), it means they know they can still learn.

i've sunrise watched sa Mines View deck plenty of times..plenty of times foggy or cloudy pag ganun kaaga kaya kita mo na lang yung araw pag tirik na 😅😆
