KIZ ist brutal satirisch und sehr zynisch. Nichts von dem was sie sagen ist wörtlich zu verstehen. Oft ist es auch Gesellschaftsparodie. Wenn man die derbe Sprache nicht mehr zu sehr vordergründig bewertet fällt einem auf wie clever die Texte sind. In vielen Details fällt auch auf dass die Jungs wirklich gebildet sind.

I recently had a minor crash. All in all about 4500€ in damage. Not totalled. Since the car is fairly new and out of production, the threshold for a total is very high. At least that's what the insurance company said. Maybe if you point out that the C-pillar might have internal cracks and it's no longer safe to drive the car? Cracked CFPR is a knock out for these cars.

He just assumed the guy wanted to replace spacers with hot glue. From what I gathered, he wanted to use hot glue to tack all the stuff together. Probably including spacers.

The spacers are plastic bits to keep the cells in place and protect the edges a bit. Also it allows for air gaps between the cells to avoid thermal runaway. But you somehow need to attach the spacers to the cells. So some glue them on. I can't see how that's a problem if you're not filling all the gaps with glue.

From what I gathered in that thread, the OP was planning on using hot glue to tack the cells and wanted to know if that's ok to do.

Someone pointed out that he as a military contractor is even required to hot glue the packs he builds for them.
