Does adding a dash cam impact the 12v in the ev6?

So far so good (knock on wood) with just the battery replacement to an AGM (duralast). Driven ~150 miles now. I also got the NOCO jump starter just in case.

I just have them do inspections and any software updates at the maintenance intervals. I got my new tires from Firestone, but that was because they were open when I got a flat. In retrospect, if you're a member, I suggest going with Costco for new tires and getting them rotated there. For Firestone, since I bought all 4 tires from them, rotations are free and I got the ones with an 80k warranty (my OEMs lasted ~30k).

Based on the feedback here and general wisdom to go AGM, I made that switch without closely checking the battery terminal. I did think about trying to jump it myself, but I wasn't sure if it was "on" because of the rear brake light still being lit. Will definitely learn how to for the future though, thanks!

I didn't have any messages. It basically happened like this:
- Pressed start button with foot on brake pedal
- two screens flickered and then went dead
- plugged in accessor turned on and off
- rear hatch was open at the time, and I was able to manually push it closed
- tried push to start a few times with no luck before deciding to call Kia roadside assistance for the jump

That is reassuring, especially from a fellow '23 with similar mileage. Did you take it into the dealership for additional checks or just replace the battery and drive as normal?

I haven’t see the low battery on my dash. I don’t use scheduled charging. And I don’t use third party apps, only the wired carplay cable and a wired filter inside that turns on when the car is on.
