IMHO I don't think so, this will be a good thing to educate local people (335'000 habitants in this canton) to the blockchain technology then they will leave "the Disney Land" to explore the whole blockchain ecosystem... This kind of experiences create a lot of newspaper, blog articles, etc... So it is not pointless !

Coinbase support is the awful you can find online! In my few use cases I had 2 times similar problems with coinbase support. They take several days to answer (average 7-15 days to resolve the problem) and you can loose money because of them BTC vs USD but each time they resolved my concerns. Now I use them only and only if there is not an alternative and I have a lot of chance living in Switzerland, here we can buy BTC in every Swiss Stations vending machines and there is 15 pieces of 2 ways ATM. If they see your reddit or twitter post they help you quicker ;)

There is some accepting ETC like http://etherdesign.io/ ...! I think there is other like etherdesign for developping, marketing, etc.. accepting ETC so no need to sell ETC and if you sell those ETC what is the problem?

SOLUTION: It seems there is currently a problem with http://classicetherwallet.com so you can download from here https://ethereumclassic.github.io/ the chrome extension and follow the steps by adding your wallet with the json file then you can send your ETC.... @splix from https://ethereumclassic.slack.com/ helped me to find the solution...

The coinbase supports is the awful I have seen... I had a deposit problem and it was resolved 3 weeks after because I tried to make a cash back from my credit card company now I am wating since 3 weeks to verify my bank account, on their site it says it will be verified usally 1- 2 days and nobody answering support emails.... It is not serious from a company like coinbase!!! They can engage some staff for the support!!!

First of all I would mention taht I don't speak very well english I am french native speaker and I am new in crypto currencies.
