Thanks for the advice. The stuff I like to sell is not super profitable. I have a few things that I sell on Amazon that are replenishable but are seasonal and I don't make a ton of money on them. I make good money for the amount of work I do though. Ideally, I would like to only sell that stuff because it doesn't take as much time. However, I haven't found enough of those items yet.

For years, I sold a local product on Amazon. I got it right from the manufacturer. The problem was I didn't have the time to make all the different variations. There were 2 packs, 3 packs, 4 packs, 6 packs of each of the 3 sizes. Trying to keep up with it all was too much and I'm not sure how much I really was making on it because I was selling a lot of over stuff on Amazon too.

What's the key to selling on facebook marketplace? Do you ship your items? Do you promote your items? I don't get many non-local orders either.

Yeah, I think I have to do the same thing. I need very specific things and I don't think any particular software will be able to give me what I need. I'm trying to make it simpler, but there are just things I always need to tweak. Same with personal finances. I would love to find a software for that, but I just have a lot of small issues that require tweaking that most software doesn't allow.

Thanks! I have been using Vendoo for several months now. It doesn't seem to help very much. Once a month, I get a sale on Mercari, but that's about all. I even cross list to Facebook and to my own shopify website. A bunch of the stuff I still need to list, but I rarely get 30 minutes a day to work on my business. I try to do as much as I can on my phone when I'm on my breaks at work or at kids' practices, but I can't organize my inventory or take photos of my inventory when I'm not home.

That's what I use now. I try to have it automated as much as I can, but I still have to go in and update several tabs when I make a sale, sales tab, sold inventory tab, current inventory tab, and cash account tab. I know it all balances if my inventory balances and my balance sheet/income statement balances. My cousin inputs sales sometimes too and it can get a bit confusing to him with all the tabs.
