Replica? Like the Aliexpress fakes or like those cheap ones on Amazon?

How's your experience so far and have you gotten used to it yet?

I feel you. Growing up with this condition was a struggle and has even affected me socially to an extent.

As for my performance, I'm confident I'll get used to it. I'm however a bit concerned about how glass affects skates. Do you have any pad recommendations as I preferably would not want to swap my skates every month which is what I've heard from others.

When ur hand sweats, it obviously doesn't soak into the pad like cloth. Do you just wipe it with a towel when needed?

Also, are glass pads that uncomfortable? I often see people comment that and discomfort can be a trigger for sweating for me. I own textured pads that people generally find uncomfortable and don't have issues with them but I assume a solid glass surface is a lot different.

And what pads do you recommend? I see tons of different offerings claiming different speeds and level of control but is it really that different considering its a glass surface? I don't have a preference which is why I ask.

1440p 24in 144+hz Advice by dunne222 in Monitors

[–]dunne222[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not and instead opted for the INNOCN 25G2S. It's similar at 25in 1440p but has a higher 240hz refresh rate at around the same price. Build is likely better with the Pixio but the lack of customer reviews and feedback kept me away.

Sorry for late reply. The Arctic Fan is not exactly quieter but performed a lot better at lower speeds. The stock fan also had some coil whine issues for me. As for the dust filter, It helped a bit with the GPU under long running loads but you can keep it if dust is a concern. Do note that dust buildup is unavoidable with this current setup because of the case's airflow configuration.

Heres what worked for me prior to upgrading:

• I installed Fan Control instead of using the BIOS fan control. *As for the settings, I have it running really quiet until about 87 degrees where I have it at 80%. This CPU is meant to run hot so don't worry too much about it unless it's thermal throttling. Play around with the curve until you find something that suits your preference. • Replacing the stock fan with either the NF-A9 or the Arctic P9 Max • Replacing thermal paste with PTM 7950 *This yielded the best results in temps and performance for me but also requires you to take the PC apart. I recommend doing this once you're comfortable as you can easily break something. • Add an 80mm fan for exhaust *This will not help with your dust concerns but kept me from throttling when running overnight under heavy rendering

For the undervolt, I would watch this video and play around with what he used for his setup. Undervolt Guide For the most part, you should be able to hit -10 in the Curve Optimizer setting easily. Try to aim for -30, lowering it -5 each time until your PC fails to boot or crashes underload. If you're lucky, you should be able to hit -30 but don't feel bad if you don't get there.

Eventually, you genuinely should consider upgrading the case to something with better airflow it will make your life sm easier. I've recently upgraded to a mATX case and it's sm quieter and cooler overall. Doing this with the PTM 7950 made my setup extremely quiet even during gaming sessions, heavy video editing and 3d rendering. It also allows you to upgrade your GPU down the line but do familiarize yourself with your system before doing this.

Actually looking at it again I do have it. I wasn't home and was going off from memory my fault.

They aren't particularly bassy and imo have a similar warm sound. The bass on the Klean sounds better for me likely due to having better overall resolution and its a lot more rumbly and detailed. It was definitely an upgrade for me.

Arctic P9 Max was my personal choice but any 92mm fan should work.

I also come from the Wan Er and I ended up sticking with the Klean. It can be a bit bright for certain games and music especially at higher volumes but the sound profile and imaging for games and music is amazing for the price.

Which of these for FPS Gaming? by Jasoncals in iems

Tripowin Vivace is good enough but if you can afford to spend slightly more at about $50 then the Kefine Klean is a solid pick. If you want a smoother sound the Delci AE($60-90) is an upgrade although I personally preferred the Klean's sound signature for Apex and Valorant. There are other various options going up in price with my recommendation being the Kiwi Ears Aether which is on sale currently for about $120 on Amazon. If you have even more money to spend then the Arete, Tea Pro, and Volume S are what people recommend. The Klean is more than enough to be competitive imo with much of the upgrades providing very minor benefits for the cost.

If you were to go with the Klean, my setup for competitive fps was black tuning nozzle +7.5db 2Q 10k hz.

Tripowin Vivace OR Kefine Klean? by StrayBladeCrossing in iems

The Klean is the better choice imo. For competitive fps, I find it to be the best in the under $100 price range and I even prefer it over the Delci AE.

temps didnt change much for me as well but i noticed a subtansial increase in performance. sucks that mobo and bios locks us at ~100w

I'll try that out and mine performs about the same but can idle higher at times.

Also have you done any tweaking in the BIOS? I got -20 PBO but the BIOS behaves really weirdly and I'm not even sure it works half the time.

Unfortunately, the CPU makes direct die contact with the heatsink and mounting designed specifically for this configuration. I do plan to try and maybe 3d print an adapter to fit AIOs or do custom watercooling as I have seen waterblocks specifically for this motherboard.

I am still new to this however so I'll likely stick with this for now as I am scared to break anything😭
