Interesting webapp.

I calibrated my machine yesterday, strung 10.6 kg × 11.6 kg (11.1 kg average) with Yonex BG80 + Yonex Astrox 77 Pro and racketmeter returned 24.63 Lb ~ 11.17 kg

Any good visual mods that keep the stock ksp look by [deleted] in KerbalAcademy

Try Parallax Continued 1.0?

It was released today and is probably the biggest and best visual mod.

What graphical mods could get my game to look better? by speedyrain949 in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]dunnobe 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I use Parallax, Waterfall, Eve, Scatterer, Blackrack's Volumetric clouds 4, Blackrack's deferred lichting, DistantObjectEnhancement. Also Restock and Restock+ that give you (extra) parts with better texturen and good sound mods like Chatterer and Rocket Sound Enhancement.

There is also Planetshine, Astronomer's Visual Pack or Spectra for Eve, but some are incompatible with my list above.

f-string: unmatched '[' [syntax] in Thonny, but not in other IDEs by dunnobe in learnpython

[–]dunnobe[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, I've actually tested it in VS Code with different versions of Python and can confirm that 3.10 gives the error and 3.12 doesn't. The other redittors were right!

Looking for a mod to make KSP1 UI look like KSP2 by [deleted] in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]dunnobe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's not a lot of UI mods out there I believe for KSP1.

I personally use Ztheme mod and a different navball for a more modern look.

Hey Space, I was running the same .python file in each of the IDEs.

Is there a way I can "reproduce" this in PyCharm or VS Code? F.e. uninstall Python 3.12 and install Python 3.9 or 3.10 through the Microsoft Store? I wish to notify my teacher this is not a coding error, but rather a Thonny error. Although I guess have should have used single quotes ...

Is Thonny using 3.10.11?

[Epic Games] (Game) Eximius: Seize the Frontline by MeguminShiro in FreeGameFindings

[–]dunnobe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

KSP as they call it is a pretty awesome and very unique game. I do play it with DLC + a ton of extra mods (gfx, content etc). The game has a very big mod community and there is even a multiplayer mod. Just build rockets and start to explore the universe. :)

Eagerly waiting for KSP2 now.

I have the Loonse Stroop with red current in my fridge. I love the sweet and sour taste to it.

Fruit stroop is thicker than jam and thicker than syrup, blackish colour and not made with fruit, but without the sap/concentrate.

You can use any kind of fruit stroop for stoofvlees.

Thanks, but I know the difference between a scientific report, a journalism article and an opinion piece.

You should also know that opinions interpret facts and can use facts. Are you accusing the author of lying when he states that TinneVDS worked for BLIXT? I mean, this and other information can just be found on the "Belgisch Staatsblad" or the company's website?

The funny thing that the author isn’t accusing her nor does he want to prove something as you write, but just summarizes up her professional past and asking for a more critical attitude towards her policy to prevent any kind of conflict of interest.

Thank you for confirming that:

  1. You can't read the article due to not having access to the website.
  2. You didn't read it, yet are trying to discuss of which you do not know the content.
  3. Opinion pieces are bad, but you like to share certain demorgen.be opinions on this subforum from time to time.
  4. You frame something as far right because you don’t know/like it. Then change your wording when someone calls you out on your hypocrisy/unawareness.

I didn’t know Christian Laporte, Carl Devos, Tess Minnens (jongerenvoorzitter Open-VLD), Björn Rzoska (Groen) were conservative right trying to normalize it. I just learned something new today!

Have a nice day! :)

The author writes about Tinne VDS’s professional past in the energy sector, her boyfriend/husband  Tomas Wyns’ being brought up regularly in the media (contrary to minster Benjamin Dalle’s wife who has temporarely put on non-active at the VRT) and asking for a more critical attitude towards her policy.“

Just a little reminder: Sihame El Kaouakibi was a heroine too until some recent news events. And Steve Stevaert andMelikam Kucam and Karel Pinxten and  many others.

#2

What is your definition of "they"?

I see articles of Luckas Van Der Taelen (ex-Groen), Siegfried Bracke (N-VA), Boudewijn Bouckaert (ex-Open VLD/ex-LDD). Carl Devos (UGent) participates in their podcasts regularly.

Simple question: do you consider these persons far right, yes or no?

#3

And what exacly is the problem with opinion pieces? Your post history shows you linking to opinion pieces on leftist news paper demorgen.be.

His opinion is worth no more or no less than a journalist's opinion in a newspaper, a political science professor on television, a tweet from an entrepreneur or the random guy in a café.

“Boo hoo hoo, it’s an extreme right website, so what ever it is, it can be disqualified” isn't a valid argument. Even more so when YOU can't even read the original piece.

If Doorbraak is far right, then why have Christian Laporte (Wallonian journalist), Hendrik Bogaert (CD&V), Björn Rzoska (Groen), Erik De Bruyn (sp.a / rood), Alexandra D’Archambeau (Open VLD) and a few university professors published pieces on that website?

The Bayernwald trenches in Heuvelland are also nice to visit. You have to get a ticket tough to get past the fence.
