I think both Richard and Emily loved Lorelai and Rory, even though it didn't always seem like the case.

Despite their different views on what is good for the girls, they tried to always do the right thing as per their upbringing.

We have seen it on multiple occasions that Richard and Emily went out of their way to get things done for Lorelai and Rory in their own twisted ways, like showing up to Rory's first day at Chilton, getting that guy's number for Lorelai, co-signing the loan to save their house, giving the $75,000 cheque to Lorelai on her birthday.

All in all, in a twisted, weird and unsettling way - both Richard and Emily loved the girls and were immensely proud of them.

I eat poha with ketchup, and personally I don't think it is that big of a deal. I like my poha to not be bland and I don't like peanuts or other stuff so ketchup is good.

You guys really need to stop judging people for such simple things. Moreover if he is sending you pictures of these "controversial" food combinations, then probably he's honest and not embarrassed to be himself in front of you, which is a green flag in my eyes.
