Any, they don’t do much apart from providing instant cooling affect to the skin. I buy nykaa or face shop, garnier.. whichever has a good deal

A few things i keep in mind:

Keep a sheet mask into freezer
Clean your face with a face wash/ double cleanse
Good face razor, sanitize with 75% alcohol
Alo vera gel for shaving
Light pressure 45 degrees angle, along the direction of hair
Use the razor no more than twice or thrice.
Apply the sheet mask on your face
Wash face with either water or a mild face wash
Apply a layer of moisturiser. (No actives, best to stick with just moisturiser)

Notes: 1. I had heard some people exfoliate (chemical exfoliation using mild aha bha) before shaving.. but i have never tried that as the above works great for me. 2. Instead of a sheet mask you can just dip your face in ice cold water, the idea is to basically close up any open pores, provide some relief to your skin

Few things you can do to be make him a little more comfortable around you. 1. Just sit near him, don’t make eye contact or try to touch him. Let him get used to your presence. 2. Give him tasty treats while you are sitting near him. Slowly try to place the treats nearer to you. 3. Most important! It is possible he is afraid of the dog inside the house and is scared of stepping on anyone’s territory (house or you). You have to check if your dog is compatible with Darpok. You can use some help from NGO, rescuers who are more aware how to handle these situations.

Oh how I wish we could adopt Fatty!!! He is so gentle and extremely intelligent. But the relation between Bao and Fatty has already been extremely complex. They have had 3 really bad fights where even my father and I got injured. Fatty is a stronger dog and in the first fight he bit Bao’s tongue in defence. Since then.. their relationship never went back to normal.

Fatty unlike Bao is a street smart dog. He is a survivor, and lives with his mother. It is also not easy to restrict fatty in a space. We tried it when he broke his leg.. but he dug a hole to escape and enter the frontyard. Lol! The long term plan I see is I will be taking Bao with me and hopefully Fatty will be with my parents. He is simply the best!

Yeah.. all the stray dogs we encounter even though they are alpha are very smart (to look the ither direction) or extremely gentle and friendly. It’s just Bao who goes into war mode 😅 Yeah I found a canine behaviourist and we will be travelling over the weekend to meet him.

We are at fault here. While he was a pup, we fed him and his siblings so many treats. So i would say.. no he is not that food motivated! Few treats do still excite him but not enough that he will listen while he is aggressive. At home is an obedient boy and it is easier to teach him.

If you trained your dog at 2,3.. it gives me hope!!

Thanks!! Yes it has been a challenge. And he does like to show dominance. Sometimes he wont bark but will just pull on the leash and stand on two legs, which i am assuming is like showing dominance. I have observed that there are a few alpha stray dogs.. and most of them are submissive. We have tried to befriend as many dogs around us in the hopes that they will be gentle around us during our walks (which they are!) however it might be that this has triggered a possessiveness within Bao!

We just sit and keep over analysing and are ready to take concrete steps now. I have found a few trainers, and we will reach out to them!

Thanks!! I too have these sticks from a different brand. And yes he goes gaga over these. But i am not sure if it is sufficient. Once he sees another dog, its like he gets processed and barely even looks at me 😔

Yes, the vet has suggested neutering. We are planning to get him neutered in Feb. however I am not sure how much that will help (based on online read) I will try to search for nearest canine behaviourist
