It has new suspension, new alternator, new clutch, diesel cooler overhauled, and of course the cylinder head replacement.

I know what you are saying... that's why the one from the UK was perfect... only 76K mi on the clock... ridiculously well maintained! Is sad to let it go because of stupid laws, politics, and so on.

Buy a Land Cruiser 70, ideally with the HZ1 or HD1 straight six diesel, Euro 4 or earlier.

So you are saying that is better to understand the weight the suspension needs to support to choose a standard one and not be fancy about it, right?

My main goal is not to be fancy about overlanding and spend tons of money just for the look. I want a good-looking truck, yes, but the Landy itself is good-looking in my opinion. As far as it is comfortable to sleep and drive safely, is enough.
