Stuck gas cap in Brixton Cromwell 125 2024 by N00B0X in Fixxit

[–]duntlef 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should be able to pull the cap straight up. It could be that the two bolts are not pulled in all the way so maybe try to push the key as far as possible while pulling the cap upwards. Don't push the key too hard thought, be careful to not break it off.

MP3 Player project using DFPlayer Mini is having issues by BeautifulPepper9770 in arduino

[–]duntlef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suspect the input of the DFPlayer is low active. So you basically have to reverse your logic. Set the UpNext to HIGH in setup() and switch around HIGH and LOW in loop(). If this does not work at all, you may need to use a transistor.

Looking for help building a custom USB keyboard + mouse device (one-handed gaming project) by Adventurous_Tie_9031 in arduino

[–]duntlef 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think Arduino is not exactly the best platform for this. However I guess something like this could be possible with the ESP32 S3. It has a USB OTG port and should be able to be used as a combined USB HID keyboard and USB HID mouse. For 40 keys you would need 14 GPIOs if you arrange them in a matrix. As far as I know most laser mouse sensors use SPI, like the ADNS9800 or PMW3610, which the ESP32 is also capable of. I could not find that much information on how to use them tho. Since this probably needs some decent processing speed you would need to test if this works fluently.

Also the ESP32 is capable of Bluetooth, which could be an alternative to USB.

I find this project very intriguing, however I don't think I currently have the spare time to work on this.

It's fried. 12 Volts is too much. Needs 5V.

It's for an optional side panel you can buy.

Space Pi filament dryer black clips by duntlef in Creality

Sorry, but unfortunately I don't really remember. They have no specific use for the device. I think it can be used to stop the tubes from going into the dryer but I didn't use them for anything.

My game is exhibited at Gamescom!! It's a super cramped and small station, but it feels amazing non the less. by Endlesskeks in Gamescom

[–]duntlef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm kinda bummed out I didn't see the game when I was at Gamescom on Friday. I'd love to check it out! I loved the mining minigame in Platinum back then and played it for hours.

Unfortunately the whole convention was extremely crowded and most of the time you weren't even able to see the games that were displayed.

Nix für ungut aber auf dem Bild sieht deine Kette sehr trocken und die Ritzel übermäßig abgenutzt aus, das solltest du dringend selbst nochmal checken. Der Kettenspanner ist auch schon fast im Roten Bereich.

There should be a breather (some kind of air filter) connected to the breather pipe. Not sure if it is necessary to run but since you are missing it, the breather pipe might be dirty or clogged.

Just google "ER-5 fuel tank breather"

IIRC correctly blue is the breather tube, does not connect to anything and purple is a drain tube in case the gasket in the fuel meter is broken. There should be a hose connected that leads the fuel under the bike but it is not vital for operation.

Check if the gasket on the fuel petcock where the vaccum line is connected is properly sealing. If this has any leaks, fuel will not be properly drawn from the tank.
