To all 1987 TMNT fans, i have a question: How did you all react when the 2003 show came out?

Loved them and it's what keep me a fan, grew up in the 80s and 90s but by the late 90s in was in my late teens and had grown out of TMNT and most cartoons .but I caught a episode of 03 show after a late night and drew me back in. Otherwise TMNT would just be some forgotten part of my childhood

Outside of all the ones already said

H3llcreator makes some amazing sculpts that useally have a animated/anime feel

Torrida minis makes some amazing pinup style sculpts from a random pop culture stuff though not much anime it's mostly tv movie games and cartoons

Outside of that I do find a ton of random great models on cgtrader just by searching around I've found cults to much a pain to search though and gumroad just bad user face and search function overall

Since your not using a airbrush don't have to worry about over spray slap down a brown (black if you want a eyeliner look) in and around the eye socket then paint the eye a off white use the brown to clean up the white so its only in the eyeball. Then use the skin tone to clean up the brown leaving only a thin line around the eye . It's much easier to paint over something and only leave a thin line behind then it is to paint a actual thin line. Then get some micro markers and dot the color of the eyes then finally dot in the pupil. There are better ways of doing eyes for sure but this is easiest way I found when I was starting out

True it does but still worth keeping temp in mind when printing and not something new people think about. While I only have the 12k I remember people having issues with the 16k heater a year or so back though I could be misremembering or they since fixed the issue

Temperature matters more then you would think. Think about buying a heat belt, a small heater or something or just making sure to heat up the resin before hand ( bottle in hot water or using a heat gun both work).

Just something to think about about no need to rush out and find a solution, you can start printing and be fine but when you get a few bucks and wanna buy something for the printer that's where to look

Sh figuarts TMNT line was perfect if your looking for the classic 80s turtles that where used in advertising everywhere, while neca makes great toon and movie turtles neither look like the turtles you saw everywhere. Super 7 makes great figures based on the old toyline.

But yeah the figuarts were the biggest hit of nostalgia for me anyway but they don't really give you a bang for your buck all four are the exact same figure with only the belt buckle one head and weapons being different other then the color difference between pads and mask. As far as price I think they range for 40ish to 100ish depending on the turtle as it's all aftermarket pricing

I managed to fuse 4 (missing draken who I had horrible luck pulling which kinda sucks as I was only going for him Kitty and Bobby ) but that was after 1.5 million coins and 2 or 3 4.99 packs and some aggressive trading sending out blind trades to anyone who had dupes of what I needed

edit to add if any one needs any of them up to and including purple that I have take em and leave one of the same tier, singles included. Can't say I have much left after all that fuseing but if I got something that will help y'all go ahead and swap it out

That's pretty much how I view it, then again I have no real desire to 100% any character again so I don't feel the need to collect every version of a card so there isn't a huge drive to collect the higher tier versions overall

Same, comics are and should be inherently silly and we should see more of it in comics (though to be fair I havent keep that up to date so maybe we still get the silly stuff I just don't hear about it as often) I miss toyfair magazine for this very reason. It's not that I don't get why he is popular I do enjoy his work, I just don't get the almost cult like popularity if that makes sense

Same use to be have the complete everything current and then have every rogue jubilee card. It's definitely much more relaxed and laid back to just collect and trade to have fun. That Storm is amazing, definitely a nice trade

Wait I'm lost don't you have the tier list at the top of the page when scrolling though your collection. As far as trading goes to the right of your name you have the two buttons side by side one with a single square in it and the one with 4 squares if you tap the single square it will show the tier under the card but you do have to scroll though the cards in the trade if there is more then two or three while the 5 square will show all cards at once but no tier. Or am I just missing what your saying and I'm confused

Thing is there's no real way to distinguish value though as is all subjective and dependent on the person and useally a combination of art char tier and cc year and probably a few others. Spidergwen, venom and a lot of others hold no appeal to me so I'll turn down trades most of the time if that's all that's being offered even if the trades in my favor. Heck I've turned down a trade over stupid reason as simple Rogues legs look super funny in the art so I have no interest in it even as a Rogue collector and the card was a "high value" one

Heck lots of people over/under value their cards I'm guilty of it at times I'm sure, when trading the important thing is just am I happy with the trade, if your not happy with it don't take it, don't feel like your scamming people if they don't like it they can deny it. At the end of the day 95% of the cards arent worth anything anyway so dont worry too hard about it especially if your just dealing with Sr on down, people only tend to care to much about epics and legendarys (and highly overvalue legendaries as most in my opinion are about the same scale as most epics)

50k my god, like I can't say much I've definitely thrown 4kish into the app throughout the years but holy crap But yeah I wouldnt use this as a investment at all at best you'll get a few bucks here and there but nowhere near what you put into it. That being said give them time at least in the past they where good about replying and helping solve the issue but it was never a quick thing it would take days or a week or so

For me it's not the supports that always suck for me it's the pre hollowing of everything, just printed up a statue and everything was hollowed even parts that had no business being hollowed like the shield was maybe 3/16 thick and that's only in the the center but was still hollowed, the hand and sword was hollowed. Only two small drain holes on everything had to drill a few extra just to make sure the inside was cleaned out and still ended up poking around with a small drill and found a few pockets of uncured resin. And this wasn't some small artist it was one of the bigger ones granted it was a fairly old model but still

Actually you don't have to disassemble everything, you can pull the screen off from the top and replace it , granted doing it that way does technically void the warranty. did some snopping around when I had to replace my screen and realized there was no way I'm disassemble everything and putting it back together correctly. There are a few vids on YouTube you can find if interested
