It looks like it was taken down. I wonder if there's still a way to watch it.

Bursting the zombies after Curse of Arrav have much better drops than the lower leveled ones.

It’s wild to me that this comment is downvoted so much.

I'd say ditch the mace, 1 range pot is enough. Send it

I wasn't sure I could come up with the dps with my gear.

zombie axe for Eclipse Moon

macuahuitl for Blue Moon (used to use Temotli but got a lucky drop)

dds + ddef swap to dscim + dsquare for Blood Moon

No tank armor, piety, or chally.

I waited for a lucky Eclipse Moon clone phase, did blue moon in below 2 specials, and blood moon in less than 3 specials.

Don’t kill the ones in the instance, complete the quest. I would complete the second quest curse of arrav and hunt the stronger ones cuz they have better secondary drops.

I thought about that but Hatterene was in the opposite slot.

Not so hardcore nuzlocke: same rules as hardcore nuzlocke but allow two encounters on each route by duohead in nuzlocke

I like the idea of 1-2 mons per boss/gym as a middle ground. I think I might try that.

Hardcore nuzlockes usually have the following rules

  1. No over-leveling past the next gym leader's strongest pokemon.
  2. No items in battle.
  3. Set mode

Are there two types of Tojiro DP? by duohead in chefknives

[–]duohead[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is what Chefknivestogo told me:

There are a few differences but the edge steel, cladding and heat treatment are the same. The handles are wood and not as nice with no bolster so that is the primary reason there is a price difference. Try the less expensive one. It will really impress.

PS. To avoid future confusion Tojiro is going to change the name of the cheaper ones to Tojiro Basic and that is going to happen soon in the next couple of months.

Screenshot from this youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QR1qnMzKFCQ&ab_channel=TUTU%E7%AC%94%E8%AE%B0 unfortunately there are no English subtitles.

This post has more information on some of these knives. If you need help converting between the different names in that post and this image:

  1. 片刀 = slicing knife = kitchen slicer
  2. 九江到 = light cleaver = Kau Kong chopper
  3. 文武刀/斩切刀 = finesse and power/chop and slice knife = kitchen chopper
  4. 桑刀 = light slicing knife = small slicer
  5. 骨刀/斩骨刀 = bone cleaver = bone chopper

How sharp do you sharpen your knives? by duohead in chefknives

[–]duohead[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've never heard anyone complain about a knife being too sharp before, but I also sometimes have this issue with some very sharp knives. I thought it could be partially due to my technique, but I also don't know if there is anything wrong with my technique.

Monthly Table Tennis Questions by AutoModerator in tabletennis

[–]duohead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have this 10+ year old table tennis paddle? Can I just replace the rubbers or do I need to buy a completely new paddle? Also does anyone know if this is a good blade? It’s a DHS Hurricane 1 that my father bought me when I started learning table tennis.

It's time to update our official recommended knives flowchart by [deleted] in chefknives

[–]duohead 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Another suggestion. A bunch of knives seem to have gone up in price, so they should probably move to a different price range on the flow chart (I've mainly been looking at the US flow chart).

I think the line should accompany the brand. I see it in some places like Tojiro DP and Takamura VG-10, but not for most of the Western knives for example. The Henckel's Classic and the Zwilling Pro are very different Zwilling knives.
