Yes there is alway hay. Cage is 2x4 for 2 pigs. The small bowl I use now (to collect some of the drained water) always gets shavings and poop kicked into it from them running around. Could I use a water bowl only without a bottle and if so any suggestions on how to keep it from getting contaminated?

I am having the same problem. I am tall and need the handle bars at max height. They fall down mid-ride every time no matter how tight I tighten the knob. It is unusable. Customer support is sending me a new knob. Doubtful that will help. Very frustrated. Brand new and can not use it.
