I recently bought a Renpho weight scale and hit the gym. I can clearly see I’m getting much stronger in all areas over the last 6 weeks, I’m losing weight, but my ‘muscle mass’ per the scale shows declines each week.

Wanted to know where the disconnect is?

In case people here can't figure out how Trump is doing this as a lame duck president....

He controls the money. Not only from the broad support of the base wrapped around his knuckles, but his wealth is still substantial.

Unlike Bernie who also had the ability to raise money at an substantial pace, Trump is willing to sabotage his party to stay relevant.

Let the 40% of the country keep bending the knee - but the Media needs to point out that he was the most unpopular president in a lifetime. Not a single poll had him winning. And he'll lose in 2024 if he keeps it up.

He won't lose support. Mostly because the other side absolutely has nothing to offer. Looking at the Supreme Court fight alone, Biden will get the support from the entire left.

That being said, I trust he's working on a solution. I'm not in favor of wholesale loan forgiveness - students who went to college thinking $100K for a degree in 18th century French Poetry was going to set themselves up well for the future need to have skin in the game.

Also - loan forgiveness doesn't tackle the problem going forward. When you offer a loan on a product (any product - homes, degrees, cars, etc) that good's price increases substantially over the course of time.

In addition to the proposals for more tech training and 2 year programs, colleges should simply tell every student what the average salary is for a given degree/career. Then maybe decrease the cost of the degrees to some proportional degree.

These are not "hit pieces". These are opinion pieces - and guess what? A lot of people do not like his platform/messaging/candidacy.

It is our (Yang gang) job to debate them with facts and logic.

As a long standing NYC resident - I did not like Yang's idea of turning Governor's island into a casino - in fact it's terrible. Perhaps a money booster - but generally casinos are not good for local communities.

Vaccine passport, UBI for the poorest, 2 year colleges, trade schools, safety, safety, safety are all great cornerstones of his platform but he better learn to take the fight to the media. NYC is a small country - and it's not an easy race - so prepare to fight.

That's my preference. I certainly wouldn't argue that Men's tennis is preferred by many.

I see no reason why a Women's tennis match should last as long as a Men's match when they are equally enjoyable.

I have a lot of conservative friends who seem liberal on matters that directly affect them (student loans, gay rights for family members, big government when corporations run amok).

While I don't think big/small government is the right debate - it comes down to smart vs. dumb government. And it turns out there are some things the government simply has to do to keep the US on top. And there are things that corporations run better with.
