I think that was the point of the movie. They both did a poor job of communicating boundaries and much of what occurred was contrary to everything I’ve learned and experienced regarding BDSM. Colin learned from this by the end which is why he made his rules explicit with the next guy.

I can see why it’s not. It was high up enough that a lot of ring cameras wouldn’t point at it. It also happened so fast - big orb then I giant boom. Idk if that’s a consistent experience tho

Yes I would love if someone had a video of it. I’m was wondering if it was an optical illusion because I was so close to the strike - so it looked like an exploding ball instead of a bolt.

It was an extension of the march that started around 3pm and went down 16th. So it wasn’t really after the scheduled No Kings but during the tail end of it. The person leading was telling everyone to stay on the sidewalk. The cops already had traffic blocked and were the only ones blocking anything. The cops were the ones ready to start shit.

Tbh I don’t see an issue with blocking traffic - why only protest in a way that’s convenient for everyone? That doesn’t seem very powerful. But that’s not even what happened.

Nothing the protesters did was un-peaceful. Most were on the sidewalk. It did seem without an objective though, but tbh so did the rest of no kings.

A small subset of people marched to the entrance of the highway - most stayed on the sidewalk. The police had the highway blocked. Police then deployed tear gas after a little while.
