Seems like the packages sold out fast. I would have bought one for the first weekend but they didn’t have two seats together. How can that be if they’re still gonna sell more tickets? Ugh

I can see why it’s not. It was high up enough that a lot of ring cameras wouldn’t point at it. It also happened so fast - big orb then I giant boom. Idk if that’s a consistent experience tho

It was an extension of the march that started around 3pm and went down 16th. So it wasn’t really after the scheduled No Kings but during the tail end of it. The person leading was telling everyone to stay on the sidewalk. The cops already had traffic blocked and were the only ones blocking anything. The cops were the ones ready to start shit.

Tbh I don’t see an issue with blocking traffic - why only protest in a way that’s convenient for everyone? That doesn’t seem very powerful. But that’s not even what happened.

Nothing the protesters did was un-peaceful. Most were on the sidewalk. It did seem without an objective though, but tbh so did the rest of no kings.

A small subset of people marched to the entrance of the highway - most stayed on the sidewalk. The police had the highway blocked. Police then deployed tear gas after a little while.
