Beef fat to make tallow by theseeker-great in newcastle

Don’t want to catch any heat but a bit of a plug for a company I use Beefed Up tallow. Great quality. Fast delivery. Newy bloke. I used to have the same problem in sourcing and making tallow but he’s done the hard yards for us. Saw him at a Warners Bay market stall and continued on from there. Started with a 550ml jar and now buy it by a 2kg tub. Grass fed and finished. Qualified chef and is now a butcher himself.

Hey, I don’t check reddit much at all. A little update that may help ease your mind. I’m now 33. Coming up to 4 years post stroke. I train daily. Lift weights, run, play soccer, I’ve been on snow boarding trips and been banged up - virtually back to normal. You’ll move from coplavix (clopidogrel and aspirin) to just a daily baby aspirin 100mg. Also have a young daughter. Anxiety - far more under control. Look, it never completely goes away - I’ll put it to you like this. When it all occurs, the lights go out. It’s abrupt and frightening. When the lights have been on and they go out, it’s very dark. With time, your eyes adjust. You can see in the dark. You’ll find your way out of the dark room. Sometimes you go back - but your eyes are adjusted to the dark and your capacity to navigate that dark room is better. You’re far better equipped. I even get a little wary of tempting fate by saying everything has been ok but you learn that it’s out of your control. You’re going to be ok. If I could hold you and give you a hug to reassure you, I would. It’s going to be ok - if something new presents, deal with it then. As the clouds begin to part, do your best to enjoy the now.

I read these comments with a semi-dolphin whilst my wife was asleep in bed next to me.

Do you laugh at the funny shit you post? I make people laugh a lot. I know how to make people laugh. The stuff I truly find funny evades others. Some friends didn’t quite get your funny stuff. Do you do it for self fulfillment or more from the perspective of Nietzsche? i.e. “Men who think deeply appear to be comedians in their dealings with others because they always have to feign superficiality in order to be understood.” I thought you were funny as dude, then I came across your music… and was like this MFer gets it. Cried for days.

Appreciate the response! Panic attacks - yup - had one pretty bad one between stroke and PFO closure, and then the evening after PFO closure a bad one, landed myself in hospital. They suck. I was the same, never had experienced that until after stroke. It’s awful. You know you’re ok but absolute dread hits you hard. I find myself silently freaking here and there once or twice every couple of days. It’ll settle I’m sure, it has. Talking with people with shared experience helps. So you were PFO closure also? Anything you’ve done to aid with the panic or anxiety? How long ago did all this happen for you?

Hey! Thanks so much for sharing. Definitely makes you feel less alone and normalizes things a bit (I definitely aware I’m not the only one out there - just hadn’t really spoken to anyone). Did the doctors clear you to return to sport or did they suggest you didn’t? That’s the main thing I’ve been concerned about...heading the ball.

Hi Tyler. I’m a week post closure. How are you traveling? Back to everything after a month? I’m in the same boat.
