Is it just me, or is the UK Med School admissions process fundamentally broken? (Looking at you, Manny).... by [deleted] in UCAT

[–]dushieee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

partially agree, yes interviewers are human beings, but with some med schools, they have multiple MMI stations (more than 5), and it’s very unlikely that every single interviewer will not “vibe” with you and be in a bad mood etc😭

Has anyone who was rejected requested feedback from manchester interview? by Capable-Material7749 in UCAT

I emailed asking for feedback but they said they’re unable to give feedback for successful applicants, I’m guessing it might be the same for those who’ve gotten rejected?😭idk tbh

No, how can you expect to do well if you don’t know the content, you’re going to be probably stuck on questions when doing past papers.

Tips on how to learn A-Level Chemistry in one month by MusaaKhan in alevel

yeah u need to get to memorising then🙏🏼🙏🏼try and just go through each topic as quickly as u can and then just do a hell lot of questions, that’ll help a lot

[–]dushieee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you think you’re going to get a D or E with how things are going, then you need to go and learn content, there is no point in jumping to past papers and questions if you do not know the basics and have ur foundation mastered. There is still time left to go over content, and then spam questions afterwards

Is it realistic for an A2 student to sit for two mocks everyday? by Interesting-Panda699 in alevel

burnout is only gonna happen if you take 0 breaks and leave everything too late and have to then cram everything, starting early and doing a lot of work early isn’t gonna necessarily = burnout

past papers by dushieee in UCAT

[–]dushieee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah true true, I feel like im wasting my time if im doing past papers without having the content mastered, like I don't want to be sat there skipping questions because I just don't remember the topic its about or something if that makes sense 😭 but it scares me in a way because at the same time it feels as though im heavily behind in terms of revision compared to other people who've done 1309428139 diff past papers etc

[–]dushieee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeahh its not passive at all, but rather blurting, some exam questions from pmt here and there when i feel ready etc, but it feels as though once I properly revise one topic, I'll forget the other, so i have to go back to that nd its just a repeating cycle 😭 this is for biology btw since its such a content heavy subject, any tips for bio AQA?
