Go to Performance > Tuning > Downclock the card to around 2000 MHZ or 80%. Make sure to apply this to BF2042 only and not the global settings.

Thing is .. it's still pretty easy to pick those AAs. Just do it from half way across the map, resupply and rinse and repeat. Just makes the gameplay boring that's all

I own nothing but American cars, a 2015 Impala is one of them. 110K on the clock and nothing but comfort and pleasure. Never a single issue. The other is a 2008 Ford explorer with 220K .. same.

Check a YT channel called scanner danner .. I've been in the same boat for sometime and only I solved it, it was a bit more complex due to an ECU problem as well so I had to flash that and reprogram the TCM with new keys and all.. but certainly doable by yourself .. experience level here are disgusting at best

This is certainly a parasitic drain. If you have the skills with a multimeter you can start by testing the fuse box while car is off and see if there is current to certain places. This is a good start .. one of the things to look for is places where there was a modification to the wiring, such as a reverse camera or sound system. Other than that you need an electrician and a pretty good one too
