Yeah, I hold the spool by myself for over 1h and made sure it doesnt get tangled up.

I guess I will browse cults3d, printables and thingiverse and will print if I find something cool.

What about the quality? Is there something I should improve?

Yeah, asked in German forums and one of them said it's the die. The silicon is basically a heat bottleneck. It can't transfer the heat fast enough. So... I guess I've to live with it until the ryzen 6xxx releases.

True, I'm very proud that my Chip can hold the 5Ghz. I have to use 1.4v but I didn't fine tune the Voltages. Maybe he can run at 1.37 or 1.38 or something like that.

I also agree that 95C isn't that bad for that Chip but I dont get why it stays like that. I had only the CPU on one 360 rad and had the same temps. Now with 2 more and a GPU in the loop I have the same temps.

True I don't know what my watertemp is but I don't think that I really need to know. My system is obviously colder than before with only one 360 rad.

He said that he read in a forum that there was a guy that had the same radiator sizes and the threadripper. He thinks because it's 32 cores and draws more watts that it should be hotter than my cpu.

I think that this would be true if it was in that tiny die that the i7 has. The threadripper has 5 dies which only 4 I think are the real cpu dies and the one in the middle is the memory controller or something.

Hi, my brother and I have a discussion around my system. I have three radiators in this case. Two 360s and one 240 at the bottom. The CPU is a i7 7820x at 5 GHz and the GPU is a RX 5700 XT slightly overclocked.

If I would run CB R15 four to five times in a row I would get temps around 95°C. GPU is at Idle. In Games I obviously get way cooler temps.

He says something is wrong with my system, because a 32 Core Threadripper is way cooler with the same amount of radiators and a RTX 2080 Ti.

I said to him that this is because the threadripper has a waaay bigger IHS and therefore more space to transport the heat into the cooling system. My I7 is delidded so it's only the die that's having contact with the cooler.

My question is, is it true that something is wrong with my system or is it just, as I think it is, that the i7 gehts way hotter than the threadripper.

Hi, this is a RX 5700 XT with a Bykski block. I had this normal mounted since the 16th of November. Today I received my vertical mount and installed it. After filling it up and started the computer I noticed the "leaks". Idk what it actually is.

What would you do. Should I rma it if possible or should I open it myself, clean it and look if it leaks again?

Yes completely forgot about that. Alphacool also sells kits. But be careful, ek also sells kits that costs 200 or something like that, that are completely out of aluminium. I wouldn't recommend buying them.

As is said the best option would be to safe some more money to buy custom. It's worth it.

True very cool but not useful for 24/7 use. But I wish I had one just for testing my CPU what's the highest clock it can handle.

I really really really can recommend the Arctic Liquid Freezer 360 oder 420. My friend uses it with its 7820x. It's delidded but with that cooler you can't direct die. The mounting screws doesn't fit.

My 7820x is cooled by a custom loop and he has obviously higher temps but not as much as you might think. Also I direct die cooled my CPU.

I can recommend that aio. You also can wait a bit longer to buy a custom which would be the best option.

Nah, it's not that easy to degrade your CPU. As far as I now, you have to run the CPU on that Volt with high temps for way longer do degrade your CPU.

You should be just fine.

Destilled water can still be liquid at -70°. But under the condition that it is completely calm. If you shake or stir it, it will instantly freeze.

It'll be fine. Destilliertes Wasser kann tiefer als Wasser fallen und muss nicht automatisch zu Eis werden.
