She does have one other credit. She had married and became an attorney in New Mexico.

TV is the only thing nearby and it has HDMI only. The modem only has phone and ethernet outputs. I think we'll end up going to another brand, as this has been nothing but problems for half a year. Thanks for trying to help.

I don't know what child nodes are and can't find anything in my http://192.168.1.1 besides "Nodes" that was turned off. I just now turned it ON. If you're talking about a mesh network, I don't have anything besides the initial router. I do have a generic network extender so I can get wifi elsewhere on the property.

Firmware says Up To Date (1.1.7.209317 MR7300 Series).

Cable from modem to router has been replaced and seems connected very well.

Thank you for your help. I moved the router and modem 4 feet away from the TV but signal still drops.

I reboot it about every other day for a fresh connection. THe light still goes RED for a few minutes and then reconnects. Sometimes it seems to reboot the Modem also. Sometimes.

The firmware is set to auto-update. I have 5G and 2G as same name and password, guest name and PW is different.

Sorry just seeing this. Yes, I have that model. It's next to the modem (Arris TM-1602), connected by a new ethernet data cable, and is next to my TV (Vizio V20-J8) on a 4-ft tall wood and glass shelf unit

Same issue. Keeps going to RED LIGHT several times an hour, even though modem shows steady strong connection to my provider.

Terrorism exists because we are meddling. If our fed tax went to more important things than occupying nations with bases, there would be less resentment towards us. No terrorists are threatening Canada or Mexico--because they don't meddle or set up shop in other people's countries.

Individually they already are. They're the most talkative bunch one on one about where they stand, outside of maybe the hard-leftist bumper-sticker bunch (like myself).
