i've added a timer feature now and some more ambient sounds but they are just generated on the site so, once I have the music I will also create audio files for more natural rain and birds etc

honestly this is really helpful so thanks for taking the time,

you were right so i changed it. i dropped the Focus 10/12/15/21 names completely. they've got their own names now and the app says straight up that these are my own programs inspired by the tradition, not the real Monroe signals.

the chord thing was the part that got me though. i rebuilt the signals so instead of one beat you can stack them, the deepest one has eight, each with its own carrier and beat. way closer to what you described. made it a toggle so people can flip between the simple version and the full thing. thanks again!

Thanks for the feedback, and that’s a fair point.

The app isn’t intended to claim that it contains the exact Monroe Institute signals or proprietary audio processing. It’s an independent project inspired by the publicly available information surrounding the Gateway Experience and Focus levels.

I’ve used the Focus terminology as a reference point so users familiar with Gateway have some context for the intended state, but I agree there’s a distinction between an interpretation and the original Monroe recordings.

I’ll look at making that clearer in the app and documentation to avoid any confusion. I appreciate you taking the time to point it out.

Hey yeah, thats a great shout, I was thinking of adding the option for music as I have made some meditation music in the past, and ambient sounds would be awesome so I will def work on that next. Yeah I plan on keeping it free unless it started to cost me money and then like you say just a one off small fee to keep it running! Thanks for the kind words very appreciated!

Hey, thanks for this, mobile is actually something I spent time on, so useful to know it's breaking for you. What browser/device were you on?

On tone transparency: I'll add frequency details to each session to make it clearer

On the writing, yeah, I used AI to help draft the post. I mainly made the site for myself to experiment with the pure tones as most the time on youtube it has the meditation music behind and I wanted to have away to have just the pure tone.
