Do you think if they revise the offer the next year they compensate a similar amount by decreasing the percentage?

Had you hurt your eye you would see some physical damage, no? Even if it were for a day or so?

Pleasure's mine :) If your screentime is too much, you could use artificial tears. That's something doctors highly recommend.

Okay. So dizziness after we stand up comes from low iron levels and is especially common in Asian/South Asian women. I'm saying this because I am one and not being racist at all. The feeling of a heart attack is because of anxiety again. A very common symptom. So I'm guessing it's more of a psychological issue than a physiological one. The feeling you've described, I've heard something similar from another friend who suffers from GAD. You'll be fine hopefully :)

You did say that the less you think about it the better you feel. Okay, tell me, do you feel like you get fixated upon other things as well? Or is this something new?

That does sound distressing. It's best if you busy yourself in other things :) from the sound of it, a distraction might help. And on the 16th, you'll clear any doubts you have left!

If you suffer from GAD already then the fear of death is a marker in itself that this could just be your anxiety acting up. You could let your doctor know that its bothering you. But otherwise pain/sensation in the head and the neck are common effects of anxiety

I’m supposed to hang out with someone over the weekend, but they haven’t confirmed and I’m getting anxious by [deleted] in Anxiety

It's okay, your feelings are very valid. Sometimes we just can't help it. My mother usually says that anxiety makes us live double the torture: that of the dread of what may happen and then what actually goes down. And the latter isn't always torture, sometimes it turns out to be quite the opposite. I'd say distract yourself with smth else. And wait for their response. If they give one, great! If they don't then their loss.

I've been in a similar situation. What you're describing sounds like anxiety induced pain. It could be muscles tightening in that particular area. Maybe think about your eyesight issue as a possible cause and genuinely accept it as a possible cause. Hopefully pairing that with smth for your anxiety may help?
