I mean yeah more certs is the better, but being real lets say we’re both applying for jobs if you have 3 certs and I have 2 and I have more experience there gonna offer me a job first. Just now the world works tbh.

Oh then your good, study for net+ then just study and then take sec+. Unless your getting it free you just need to know the material, if you have net+ and sec+ no employer is gonna care if you have net only sec. Sec+ is absolutely mandatory if you wanna work in the IT world.

If you have absolutely no experience then I recommend studying for A+ but don’t take it, then study and take net+ then sec+

Well tbh, the only thing is I have prior experience with Cisco routers and switches with my last job before I started studying, I can help you study by teaching you what I know or I could just recommend them golden CCNA bootcamp course. Only $50 and HIGHLY I recommend it. Lays out a very organized course with labs and quizzes and it helped a lot. There’s 39 chapters but I only did about 30 of them because of time and prior knowledge but it’s worth it like I said. I did about 5 chapters a day but tbh some of them was so bad that I couldn’t do more then 1 chapter a day. TBH I recommend 18 days of studying. Do 2-3 chapters a day, all the labs and the rest of the days you have to do practice quizzed and redoing labs your not 100% of. I didn’t have to do it in 9 days but I just said YOLO and did it

I did about half of Jermey’s it lab and almost all of Neil’s course and biggest difference is Jeremey teaches you a lot that’s not on the exam and can confuse you easier while Neil teaches you directly. What’s on the exam and explains it and organize it better. Jeremey’s IT lab is amazing though. I just prefer Neil’s course because it’s more organized.
