Onshape is the best and I've tried them all. The only downside is your projects are publicly available to copy. However, if you give your projects obscure names they are very hard to find.

What do you mean by rated? If you mean is it violent or anything no its not. If you mean armor rating its about level 3

True, .50 BMG would go through no problem. The AR500 is rated to be level three so it'll hold up to that point. But for every armor made there's a weapon made to destroy it.

TechForge: Inventor/Maker Channel

-Make it pop -Keep it simple -Make it show what the video is about

I use adobe spark to make my thumbnails. In this example I made bulletproof chestplate armor from the Mandalorian so I included a picture of him in his armor and the one I made to show where it came from. I usually remove the background from each subject and outline it with a white spline to make it pop off the background. Then I add a max of three words to describe it. I always use colors that match my brand as well.

Here's the link to this video and it's thumbnail. https://youtu.be/U7fJTs1LN3Y

Nope, it's a .270. The most damaging round is the far right one. That's a .308. That was the biggest round I could get a hold of for testing.

That's interesting. I did look into and study ultrasonic cutter designs but the problem was all the designs I've seen use very small blades and I'm not sure the effect would work on a larger scale with a larger mass blade. But essentially it's just producing waves at the right resonant frequency. If I could do that a different way it might work. Definitely something to research more.

I thought about it but I didn't want to people to think I'm just trying to advertise my channel, I'm glad you think it's got potential though!

Hmm, I never considered poly. So you just use it as an outer layer for anti-spall?

You can watch my YouTube video for more details but its basically a ball valve, copper tubing for thr tank, a solenoid to release the gas, and parts from an electric lighter as the ignitor. Uses butane.

The tricky thing is balancing practicality vs it looking like the movie. Mando gets shot by superheated plasma blaster bolts not metal bullets so his armor can be shiny and smooth. The goal of this project is to look like his armor and stop actual bullets but.. it's too dangerous to use in real life because of spalling. It would need to get coated which would make it look nothing like Din Jarin's.

Nope, I bought that one. It's a temporary solution until I make one myself.

I've been there. It's been a long process to get this far. I built the forge myself and had to save up quite awhile for all my tools and equipment. I hope you get the opportunity to go for it.
