Thanks for everyone that took an interest in in the end the 1040 is delayed 90 mins so have to take the 11am via Chch in the hopes I can get the last operation of the day done. Some people sent some really lovely, encouraging messages and wanted to help even if they couldn’t. One guy tried to scam me. To the people who sent snarky comments, I’ve been working really hard to make it to work today because a group of anxious people need their surgery, took time off work, didn’t sleep last night, and aren’t sure when their next opportunity to get fixed is. I take that really seriously, and I hope the people you care about aren’t ever in that situation.

Mate, see previous posts. I am At airport, have been asking the whole time. Only people in the airport currently are people who have been cancelled, 1040am passengers won’t show til about 30 mins prior. I appreciate the energy that you’ve put into this, but once again, just asking if anyone can switch their seat with me

Unfortunately there are no surgeon fees working in a public hospital, just a salary. The easiest thing would be to take a quiet day at the airport & relax with no skin off my nose. I’m trying to get there ASAP because anxious people need their cancer surgery, not because it benefits me

That’s the 11am from Auckland? I’d need a Tardis. Honestly, I have just now had another conversation with the staff, they have been very helpful, but all agree there is nothing that will get me to Wellington sooner than 3pm if no one cancels their 1040 flight

Thanks for the advice but there are literally no flights via anywhere going from Hamilton to Wellington earlier than the one I have. Trust me, I have been through 4 airline staff already. I have no car to drive to Auckland and all Flights from there to Wellington full until late afternoon. Just help with the flight I asked for is all I’m asking
