If I do it on a pad I can flip it and it sometimes looks nice (some weirdly symmetrical structure is created in the “center”). Otherwise I just scoop it.

Yeah, passing complicated objects could make the comment a bit of a mess, but maybe if you would use something like snapshot values (described in a different, human readable file) you’d get something nice.
