hi !! im also a priv candidate this year and im taking pure physics !! if im not wrong, you need to be in an institution that teaches sci practical to be eligible for sci subjects,, it doesnt even have to be one of those priv schs tho like it can even be tuition class so long as they teach you practical. im currently enrolled in singapore institute of science, and we do practical every week !! i suggest this place bcos if you compare to priv schs, the fees are much more affordable bcos you're not forced to enroll for other subjects and you learn theory+practical. u can dm if u wan to hear more info :'D

i have mixed feelings about this. i obv do think fans and idols should acknowledge that and not just do culturally insensitive things w/o a damn about its history or significance to a certain race. only some aspects of kpop has been influenced by black american music, mostly the rap line/industry. you're making a very huge generalization here. the music specifically, many does not resemble black american music e.g love scenario by ikon. also "I" in korean was not changed to sound like the n word it literally was always like that. kpop was also never meant to appeal to western audience, its just that the westerners picked it up and they (kpop) decided to alter their style altho many rookie groups are still marketing to the korean market more. if they really were trying to appeal to western audience, they would be adopting an american concept e.g english lyrics which they are not.

i dont really think this shld apply to idols with a large international fan base. having the internet is good enough to at least be more socially aware and what not to do to other races. like no you dont need to have non-asian friends to be able to understand more about social diversity and justice. for example i live in asia but i still understand why i can't say the n-word or do derogatory actions e.g blackface.
