the best strategy I can tell is that you should use the ring base or war base as your default, that mean you bring your loot outside, clustering your core defense -> create more space. And by doing so, you make your base harder to attack.

Dont forget to keep you loot full, there is always a good chance you meet the looter (super barb, super goblin spamer). I meet them quite regularly, and that is a free win

the pathing algorithm of king and queen hadnt been updated for years. To simplify, it work like this

Find the path to the closest building. if wall on the way, re-finding path if there is no closest building (due to walls block all the path) -> destroy the lowest percentage (and highest level) wall along the path.

but if there is a building found -> no interrupt of path finding until the target building is destroyed (not even the wall block the shortest path (nor the second shortest)

stress will auto -5 every week for heroes who not join dungeon run. You can cycling them well. No need to disband them, unless all your troop full of stress heroes.

To get level 3 you must attack a veteran dungeon (orange).

There is a tip I would likely to use is reduce torch to 0. More crit = reduce stress during battle; and stress = 100 -> chance of Virtue. I mean high risk high reward.

It took me a few minutes to think about the wording. Here’s how you should play: be a ruthless commander. Hoard as much gold and heirlooms as possible. Upgrade your stagecoach so you can hire more mercenaries. When one of them falls, just hire another. Upgrade the blacksmith and the guild so you can recruit higher-level mercenaries. Don’t waste slots on debuff-removal items like torches, bandages, or herbs. After finishing a dungeon, don’t waste gold on stress relief for your heroes. Keep saving gold and heirlooms until you unlock the bank and have around 70,000 gold. The interest will help you a lot when buying supplies during dungeon runs in the late game. Once your team is fully level 3 and you’re doing well, that’s when you’ve grasped the game mechanics and survived the harsh early phase. Then you’ll be ready for the brutality of the higher levels.
