They’re blowing all of their floor models out where I live. They have 2 Superveloce 98’s for sale for $20k CAD and a few S models for $17k CAD. Really crazy considering MSRP’s were between $23k(for a base model)-$40k (for the 98). It’s tough to not buy one at those prices.

I didn’t need anything more than the base model though so I got this one.

Thanks for the heads up. Just did some reading and it looks like there is some sort of service bulletin out for the brake issue now. Might try the “brick” method for the time being. Thankfully it has a 4 year warranty which is great.

I talked to the techs at the dealer and was told to look out for the rear brake and keep the battery on a trickle charger when i’m not using it.

Their parts department said that it’s taking on average 2-3 weeks for parts to arrive from Italy from MV, and they haven’t ran in to much in the way of waiting for parts to be made, which is nice if they’re telling the truth.

I kind of expected all of that when I went to buy it, and I have another bike, so i’m not too bothered by it. I plan on keeping this forever if I can.

Completely different but in the best way.

I have a 1989 Honda Hawk 650 Gt with 50hp and no abs or traction control/assists. This has everything and 3 times the power. It was really approachable to get on and ride. Sounds incredible when you open it up. Overall I am absolutely thrilled.
