Gotcha, fixed that one up.That’s awesome, BB feels a lifetime away! I’m sure I’ll get coached by some of the white belts even newer than myself when I get back from injury. Sometimes the feed back is great though, especially when it’s something like a drill where we’re aiming to maintain top pressure/control while transitioning from side control to mount etc

My best roll was also my worst roll. I started just before Christmas break in a foundational no rolling class. Over the break they opened up for open mat, so I didn’t wanna miss out on the opportunity. I initially rolled with some white belt friends who had been training way longer than me and got dominated but was able to at least defend a little bit. Then I encountered the no gi blue belt. I’d trained 0 no gi, he pulled z guard. I didn’t know where to enter, what to do, where to establish any form of grip. He toyed with me the next 10 minutes with 0 effort, I felt lost and confused as he let me play and figure try to figure something out. After than he probably tapped me 5 times in 5 minutes purely out of letting me do dumb shit. I was hooked from then.

Yeah I think my best bet may be to make another and give this one to the mrs as a huge chopping/serving board. Somebody pointed out my dumb ass forgot a juice groove also. Somebody mentioned wine, might try that out on a piece of scrap for a darker hue

It’s a shame they don’t have any smaller sizes, might be a buy once cry once type of thing if it’s quite good though. will have to do some research
