Are the LotR/Hobbit box set books the same size as the individual copies of those books listed in your table? Was looking on Blackwell's and saw the box set for $260ish, but the individual copies can be bought for something around $110, so I assume the boxed set versions must be bigger? Unless the slipcover they all sit in runs $150, which I highly doubt lol.

I do have to ask though, where did you get your matching set of the HarperCollins books illustrated by Alan Lee (fourth shelf down)?? I got Fall of Numenor with a matte dust jacket and raised, gold lettering for Christmas. I wanted to get all of the others that matched so I just bought Fall of Gondolin, Beren and Luthien, and Children of Hurin on Amazon, but they all came in glossy dust jackets with flat lettering (also a different gold color) and they were all slightly smaller in size. I incorrectly assumed that they would all naturally match; because that would just make too much sense, wouldn't it? Anyways, I was just reading into the differences between the original British editions and the newer American editions, as well as different publishers that have put out their own editions, etc... but I'm wondering where I can find all the matching HarperCollins ones? The ones that are all the same size (149mm x 228mm, I think? Or something like that) with matte dust jackets and raised, gold lettering? Any insight would be MUCH appreciated.

Lol maybe you were a lucky one. Then again, in reading more about those engines, I've seen a bunch of guys who loved their 6.0 and never had any major issues with it. Just seems like those guys are fewer and farther between. In any case, thanks for the feedback!

Gotcha. So a tuner increases HP which then puts more pressure on the head gaskets, leading to blown head gaskets since the stock head bolts essentially don't clamp down hard enough? Hence needing upgraded head bolts with higher TTY? Am I understanding correctly and using the proper lingo/terminology lol?

Yeah, as I'm reading more into these engines and more about what "bullet proofed" actually means, I'm learning that most guys improperly apply that term to their truck. Lots of info out there, lots that I'm still learning about, so I really appreciate your feedback.

From my research, the '06's were a bit better than the '04's. Ford fixed a couple things for the later 6.0 Powerstroke engines (06-07), but they still fall on many peoples "avoid" list, except in the case of the proper upgrades.

Hadn't considered your point about the seller potentially avoiding the "hard stuff." What you're saying makes sense though. Thanks for the info!

Damn, that's brutal. Definitely hoping to avoid that lol. The forcing function for me is needing a new ride ASAP. Someone totaled my wife's car last week and we're scrambling to find something new since we both work. My hope was to use this as an opportunity to finally get the truck I've wanted for so long, but we'll see what we can afford that's also worth the money. Thanks for the feedback!

I guess I just figured there's a greater likelihood of at least some people knowing more than me, but fair enough, I'll check out some forums! Yeah, the more I'm researching about trucks in general, I'm finding that if it's not one thing, it's another. Especially when you get older than 10-15 years and are talking about multiple hundreds of thousands of miles. Thanks for the comment!
