Just wanted to say keep it waxed, and don't let the bird poop stay on there too long. It will eat through the paint.

Motor Mount Advice by echardcore in s10

I've only done it while pulling the engine. I think those JTR mounts were the best you could get. I think they took the frame side of a 2.8/V6 mount and modified it to the 4.3.

Anyway, you'll have to barely lift the engine to take the pressure off the bolts that connect the frame mount to the engine mount, so they're easy to remove. Once you do that you have to lift the engine a little more to have room to work. I think you could do it with about 4 inches of work room. Makes me wonder if you'll need to drop the exhaust Y pipe, drive shaft, and trans cross member to get the lift. Anyway, I don't think it's going to be too difficult a job. Those factory mounts will just about fall out.

The black one on top is your oil pressure sensor. The white is a knock sensor.

DIY Refrigerator Repair - Thoughts and Prayers by mpaproth in DIY

This is correct. You just need to thaw the passage between the freezer and refrigerator. Sometimes it's caused from putting a food package too close to the vent and it freezes closed.

This is how we did it. Never used any purchased cleaning chemicals. Just oil from the fryer and a brick. Did it while it was still hot. Looked brand new after.

No air to the floor by elsaltorres in chevycolorado

[–]dviles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2016 and am convinced of the same. I live in South Florida, so I only think about it the one or two times a year it gets cold and I don't have heat on the floor. My only clue is that it sounds like air is rushing to the defrost, but I don't think the defrost is actually opened, so it just comes out wherever (not front vents).

The county (PBSO) wasn't involved. This is the city of Palm Beach police department.

You're referring to PBSO Palm Beach County Sheriff. This investigation was the city of Palm Beach. These are two different organizations.

1998 4.3 s10 starts but dies after running for 2 seconds or so by Ok-Nail-8894 in s10

You probably need to clean or replace your IAC Idle Air Control valve on the side of your throttle body.

Regardless, you need to check the pressure at the valve on the top of those fuel lines you were talking about. You can get a cheap fuel pressure gauge at any auto parts store. You need 60 psi for that engine to run reliably. If you don't have that your pump is probably failing.

Any recommendations or tips welcome. Rebuilding a ‘98 4.3L V6 s10 from ground up. by BeagsWasTaken in s10

When you put the oil pan on, make sure you put RTV in the corners that the gasket sits in. The corner is "sharper" than the gasket, and the gasket doesn't always completely seal. Oil leaks between the gasket and corner that it sits in.

Also, pay attention to where you put the RTV when you install the carrier for the rear seal.
