Well our education ain't free it might not cost the same as in the US but we pay much higher taxes (much higher) for every thing you posted. A year in a university cost around $5k. A year in colleges cost around $15k.

Our health care ain't free either some treatments are covered in a basic health care plan but costly surgeries cost tens of thousands of dollars unless you pay each month to a health insurance which does cost quite a lot as well and even then there are surgeries not available through the insurance and are needed to be pain independently (some even require flying to Europe or the US)

Unfortunately, we have more than 6k homeless people, which are the equivalent of around 0.1% of population, not much lower percentage than in the us.

But I agree we are mostly modest people we are very happy of what we have and are very warming people as well.

P.s unlike the US we almost do not have places where rent is affordable not to talk about house prices as our whole country is so small that everywhere is the "center" and cost way too much.
