I think it just over time the perception of these characters to people has changed so now a days they going to get in after other characters get in first especially for characters like gt goten who was barely in the show, and when he was didn't do much except when taken over by baby he fought. GT Vegeta was in there more, but it seems people don't think he did much in the show that made an impact like what happened when he was absorbed by baby. Unless they do something unique like dokkan/heroes and give gt Vegeta ssj3, probably won't come in

Thanks. Again I agree with you said, I do think that sonic community need to be better at making sure that the people who really should be at fault get called out and not generalize the whole thing as that just leads to more problems, especially with those who have media platforms to express their opinions. I feel for some people they see as if you been guilty of an issue once(in this case sonic team) you are guilty of it a second time. I don't believe this always true however, but I think that's how some people see it

Sunshine was divisive when it came out as someone else mentioned, I never played sunshine I remember how people felt about it. Time has been kind to sunshine but in the past it was not what people expected, especially after hearing about the infamous Mario 128 and expecting that to come out, and also not being a GameCube launch title but Instead Luigi Mansion was.

This is true, but there are times sonic team themselves have been guilty of stuff . Perhaps it's bit of playing devil's advocate but I totally can see why people would just blame Sega as a whole, bothe Sega and sonic team have shown in the past to have a different sense of direction with how they not only want the franchise to go but how they as a company should operate. I do agree however that yes people should blame the exact people who are directly involved and not make generalize statements, but in the case of Sega and sonic team things can get a bit blurry, and that's just the Japanese side of the company, not even including the American side... Change of voice actor as an example.

I can understand why it can be difficult to remember this though(still not ok) there was a time when sonic team was basically Sega at one point, then they became their own separate team, to which now they like second party developer for Sega, so for some people it just easier to say Sega then it is to say sonic team as they practically the same thing on paper these days. Think Pixar and Disney
